Job Description

We are looking for a software engineer experienced with PHP responsible for the development and maintenance of applications used by consumers and business relations. Your primary focus will be the development of applications and their integration with back-end services using PHP Object Oriented programming. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities

Design and build applications using PHP OOP
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Write testable code using unit testing
Skills
Proficient with PHP 7.x
Excellent understanding of relational database structures and performance tuning (MySQL)
Experience with Yii2 would be great
Experience with WordPress and Woocommerce
Experience with front-end frameworks like AngularJS
Experience with JavaScript and JQuery
Familiarity with developing REST-full API services
Experience with writing testable code
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
Knack for benchmarking and optimization
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
Familiarity with continuous integration
List education level or certification you require
