A start-up office management position is available at our trending new Cannabis business. Your duties will include matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) as well as general office management. Some payroll and HR duties. This fulltime employment is based in Palm Desert, California. Thrive in an energetic, team-oriented environment in a position which offers room for growth. Work with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance. Quickbooks knowledge is required.
Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
Upload financial information to journals and ledgers
Rectify discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Help Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other projects.
At least one year of experience
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Proficiency in customer service
Microsoft Excel experience
Well-founded grasp of calendar managements and scheduling appointments
Proven knowledge of MS Outlook
Microsoft PowerPoint experience
Microsoft Word experience
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
Cannabis related business experience is a plus. Compensations and Benefits DOE
