The Master Grower will work as part of a team to manage a 70,000 square foot, state-of-the art, indoor Cannabis Production Facility in the greater Phoenix area. Assist in daily operations and all aspects of bay planning, execution, and management; oversee and manage Grow personnel.  Our ideal candidate will hold a Masters’ Degree or higher in horticulture or agriculture and have significant experience managing a commercial production facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage a large-scale, production facility with a wide array of supplemental lighting.
Perform/supervise all required duties in the Grow Department, including the following areas of production: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, and inventory management.
Continue to develop an extensive knowledge base of successful Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies. Basic knowledge of plant pathology, ability to recognize and correct plant health issues
Implement and modify our existing, robust cultivation SOPs, and nutrient regiments, for hydroponic systems.
Manage plant scheduling and workflow organization to precisely project all facility needs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Manage and assist in training a cultivation crew of 10+ cultivators and ensure that all actions performed in the facility are compatible with highly developed systems.
Operate heavy and light horticultural equipment and machinery.
Develop methods for reducing spend and cultivate within budgetary restrictions.
Oversee and manage basic pruning procedures for different stages of plant development.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Implement and oversee water, media, and solution sampling and testing procedures
Well researched in new techniques and insight to expand knowledge in nutrient of individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress environments to different lighting systems and set ups.
Skills and Qualifications

·         Management of a commercial grow operation for more than 5 years.

·         You have at least 2 years’ commercial grow experience as a Master Grower

·         Knowledge of large-scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, air flow, etc.

·         Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.

·         Advanced knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics.
